Ghanaian teen sensation, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has officially joined Portuguese giants Sporting CP after leaving Ghana Premier League outfit Dreams FC.
The player, who turned 18 last month, inked a five-year-deal with the Primeira Liga side as he begins his career in Europe. The club confirmed the capture of the Ghanaian youngster on their official Twitter handle on Wednesday, April 5, 2022.
The 18-year-old shot to prominence after winning the best player at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania last year. He spent the last six months on loan at Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC, where he scored six goals in eight matches.
He was part of the Black Stars team that qualified for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar after urging Nigeria via the away goal rule.
