Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has fired a warning to Liverpool ahead of the Champions League final in France on Saturday.
Both European giants meet at Stade de France on Saturday night to decide who would be crowned this season’s King in Europe.
Speaking at the final press conference on Friday night ahead of the game, Belgian goalkeeper, Courtois boasted that “When Real Madrid plays a final, they win it.”
La Liga champions, who have not lost any Champions League final they have played, will make this their 14th title with a victory over the Premier League club.
Since the European Cup became the Champions League in 1992, Real Madrid has won all seven finals.
Speaking at the pre-final press conference, Courtois said, “They’ve already played one final against Madrid in 2018. It was different for me.
“Real Madrid, when they play a final, they win it, and so now I’m on the right side of history.”

Courtois speaks both Dutch and French, as well as Spanish and English.
Thibaut’s older sister Valérie Courtois is a volleyball player who plays as a libero for Stade Français Paris Saint Cloud and Belgium. His parents were volleyball players, and he played the sport in his childhood but decided to focus on football when he was 12.
On 26 May 2015, his Spanish girlfriend Marta Domínguez gave birth to their daughter, Adriana. The couple ended their relationship in April 2017 while Domínguez was pregnant with their son Nicolás, who was born a month later. He is in a relationship with Israeli model Mishel Gerzig since July 2021, and in August 2021 they adopted a dog together.
On 29 December 2021, he tested positive for COVID-19.
