Everton forward Richarlison Andrade has responded to claims that he will be quitting Everton this summer. Richarlison has been a key member of Everton since joining from Watford and was instrumental in the Toffees’ push to avoid relegation this season.
Rumours have been rife that the Brazilian will seek a move this summer to a bigger club. A host of top European clubs could be interested in the versatile attacker who can play as a centre forward or as a winger.
A post on Twitter sighted on Sports Brief claimed that Richarlison had given Chelsea, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain as his most preferred destinations. The 25-year-old, however rejected those claims.
Crazy is who trusts these sources.
Caught Offside understands that the tweet might not necessarily mean that he won’t leave the Goodison Park this summer. Frank Lampard is expected to rebuild his side to avoid flirting with relegation next season and Richarlison’s transfer fee could be vital to get new players.
Richarlison is considering his Everton departure
Sports Brief had earlier reported that Everton forward Richarlison is considering his future with the Merseyside club. The Brazilian international has two years left on his current deal with The Toffees but is weighing up his options amid interest from London’s big teams.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all keeping an eye on the Everton forward and Richarlison himself confirmed that he is thinking about his future at the blue half of Merseyside.
Richarlison is currently valued at £5o million, according to TransferMarkt. He was £35million when Everton bought him from Watford in 2018. Richarlison was instrumental in helping Everton avoid relegation this season and Lampard will be reluctant to let go of the Brazilian.
