The Ten Year Football Development Master Plan Committee set up by the Presidency to redesign football development in Nigeria will on June 29 2022, submit its report to the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare, in his office, Completesports reports
The Ten Year Football Development Master Plan Committee Committee led led by reknowned sports administrator, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, was innauagurated late last year to map out a 10 year development plan for Nigerian football.
“They have done a fantastic job and the Honourable minister is quite satisfied with what they have done and has now fixed a date for formal handing over of the report. God willing Wednesday June 29, the committee will wind down with the handing over the report,” Chief of Staff to the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Alhaji Abba Yola told Completesports.
On the stories making the round that the committee demanded N100 million to complete the assignment, Alhaji Abba Yola countered, “there is no truth in those stories. The committee never made such demand, the delay in handing over was as a result of the Honourable Minister’s tight schedule.”
Other members of the Ten Year Football Development Master Plan Committee include; Chief Segun Odegbami, Sunday Oliseh, Mr. Yemi Idowo, Dr Bode Durotoye, Honourable Ayo Omidiran, Mr Musa Amadu and Seyi Akinwunmi.
Others are; Emmanuel Banayaro, Tony Nnacheta, Ikeddy Isiguzo, Ade Ojeikere, Augustine Ojiabor and John Opubor.
